Buddy Guy is Still on Top!
At age 78, he is simply still awesome. He does things with a guitar that I've never seen anyone else do before, and the sound that he makes with it is just amazing. I sure was impressed by him, although I'm not usually easily. He deserves all the accolades and awards he's gotten. When he performs, he pours his whole soul into it. He was very humble about his abundant talent. He was chatty and there was quite a bit of interaction between him and the crowd. If you ever get a chance to see him, I'd highly recommend it. He's kind of the last of the Mohicans of the old-time blues musicians, a true living legend, a real icon. Although I had seen him a few times on TV, this was the first time I got to see Unsane live.
